Waiting for the paint to dry on the large scale Born in the Workhouse pictures, means I get really busy on all the other things that need attention. The range of arbrofion gweledol / lliw pictures that are now on sample rotation in the studio, is growing all the time.
I've put some Stryd Fawr / Stryd Uchel pictures back on rotation this week. This was the result of a conversation with visitors to the studio who hadn't previously been aware of the series.
I've been spending lots of time, working out details / illustrations from three large scale pictures. Each picture is 8' x 4' [ approx 240cms x 120cms ]. Maybe they will eventually form a triptych? Not sure at this stage. Feedback has been very positive. Currently I'm out and about meeting up with friends old and new, creatives, artists, writers, collectors, the occasional gallery curator. I continue to be in awe of the talent that exists everywhere I go.

Notes: The violent impacts on both the environment and communities I spend time in, by something unseen, something ungoverned, something unstoppable, frankly appalls me. Sad but true, it now seems to me, that in so many places, change has come at too great a price. Voiceless anger is all that is now left made worse in the knowledge that forgiveness will never be sought.
