In a time of closure I keep finding reminders of sudden endings and places peopled by the ghosts of invisible hands labouring in the extreme condition of outrageous poverty. There is a hard beauty to these places.
As a way of creating pictures for several long term ideas such as: Solva to Croft [ The Mercy Path ] and the The Curious Man of the Sea - I have, it seems to me, become increasingly focused on what is being left behind. Forgotten. It is a sturdiness connected to beauty and hidden craftsmanship in even the most desolate of places that really interests me.
